PROMOTING SUSTAINABILITY: WATER REUSE IN CAN LINES
WATER RINSER + HFM DEAD END ULTRAFILTRATION
Current water rinsers in use:
- Water rinser without tank system
- Water rinser with tank and filter unit with consumables
New: Combination of water rinser with Dead End Ultrafiltration to maximize reuse of spent water.
Available as a new machine water rinser plus DE UF in complete exchange or as a retrofit for existing water rinsers.
By integrating our HFM water rinser with the fully automatic HFM Dead-End Ultrafiltration, the spent water can be completely reused in the circuit due to the separation boundary of under 0.1 µm and up to 0.05 µm. This enables significant savings in water and wastewater. Moreover, no conventional consumables need to be changed anymore, resulting in reduced personnel effort. The outcome is a quick ROI.
In dead-end filtration, the contaminated liquid is pumped against the module at low pressure. A so-called filter cake is formed from the solid particles to be separated. The retained particles are fully automatically flushed out by backwashing.
Due to the high retention capacity of the membrane, the permeate is free of particles. Separable substances include microparticles, germs, bacteria, viruses, and macromolecular substances.
The Dead-End Ultrafiltration is specifically optimized and intelligently designed in dimensions, allowing retrofit solutions to be individually feasible even in limited space conditions.
