The H. F. Meyer Mechanical Engineering GmbH & Co. KG
H. F. Meyer Mechanical Engineering GmbH & Co. KG is managed by Nils Meyer (owner and managing director) and Andreas Meisetschläger (managing director). The mechanical engineering company from Neustadt in Holstein manufactures in Neustadt i. H. (headquarters in the north) and in Aichach (headquarters in the south) machines and systems for industrial intralogistics and product testing for various industrial sectors. These mainly include the food and beverage industry, packaging, pharma-healthcare-cosmetics, tire technology and mechanical engineering.
The company H. F. Meyer Mechanical Engineering relies on experience and innovation: Many of the highly motivated and open-minded employees have been with the company for decades. “I am very proud that we have numerous long-term employees” according to Nils Meyer. “This shows that the working atmosphere is right and that the employees feel comfortable working for H.F. Meyer.”
In the past few years, the demands placed on employees have constantly changed. “Many of the ‘long-term employees’ have to face new challenges time and again, and learn new things. The fact that this happens without any problems reflects the great flexibility of the employees who are part of the process.” With more than 100 employees, H. F. Meyer Mechanical Engineering GmbH & Co. KG is one of the most important employers in the region.
The mechanical engineering company H. F. Meyer Maschinenbau has grown through the merger with RST Automatisierungstechnik GmbH. The mechanical engineering employees are now spread across two locations (Neustadt in Holstein and Aichach). Many of the departments have been working together for years and are therefore completely coordinated with one another.
One of the most important pillars besides the construction of (special) machines is sales. By merging the two companies, the company H. F. Meyer Maschinenbau was able to reposition its sales force and can now answer queries from OEMs and direct customers from all over the world. As an international company, H. F. Meyer Maschinenbau supplies all over the world and is prepared for all inquiries with a multilingual team.

PLC control / electrical engineering
The in-house PLC control department offers automation and control technology from a single source and supplies state-of-the-art controls in accordance with the latest safety guidelines. The steadily growing team carries out the electrical design in-house and installs and builds the control cabinets directly in the production halls in Neustadt in Holstein and Aichach. Siemens technology is primarily used and circuit diagrams are created with E-Plan P8. It can of course also be used for third-party systems. The PLC control department at H. F. Meyer Maschinenbau works with systems from manufacturers: Eaton, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Pilz, Schmersal, ABB, Fanuc, Danfoss, Phönix Contact, IFM, Sick, Pepperl & Fuchs, Keyence, Igus, Lappkabel, Rittal.
The department attaches particular importance to cooperation with the customer when creating the user interface with visualization systems.
