Recertification successful: H. F. Meyer receives a new certificate

Numerous changes, restructuring and adjustments to the new market conditions have accompanied H. F. Meyer for decades. In 1996 the company in Neustadt in Holstein was certified according to ISO 9001 for the first time. H. F. Meyer Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG (HFM) has again successfully completed the recertification right away in 2023.

“With the new certificate we are once again proving that HFM is one of the companies that really live quality management,” says owner Nils Meyer. Process management, continuous improvement processes and a key figure system are part of meeting the standard. “However, these components also give us the opportunity to constantly and flexibly adjust to changes without any uncertainties arising,” emphasizes Nils Meyer. “Our customers can always be sure that the process chain works.” The quality management system is therefore regularly checked and expanded or adapted. “Regular discussions between our quality management officers and employees, evaluations of the key figures and of course internal audits ensure that we are always up to date.”

Sustainable power supply through specially generated green electricity

The family business attaches great importance to sustainability. H. F. Meyer Maschinenbau uses photovoltaic systems that are installed on the roofs of the company’s various buildings to generate electricity from renewable sources in an autarkic and environmentally friendly manner. And: Only half of the electricity produced is used internally, the remaining 50% is fed into the regional electricity grid.
